Ages 14 - Adult
May 26th's class focuses on creating combat scenes and a 30 to 60 second, fully choreographed. combat sequence. Advanced maneuvers will be taught, with emphasis on broadsword and rapier. Come get your warrior king and queen on!
Mike Yow is a professional actor, acting coach, author, and fight choreographer who has been seen on many stages in the Western N.C. area, ranging from ACT to HART to Parkway Playhouse to Magnetic Theatre and Attic Salt itself in God of Carnage. He has also appeared in several film and television project, having just been cast in the Asheville-based web-series When Fact Met Fiction. Mike's stage combat training has been through Tom Thon, an Atlanta-based actor and fight choreographer, and through Atlanta Stage Combat. He has a background in martial arts, wrestling, and medieval combat reenactment, and coupling this all with much stage experience, he has learned to adapt various maneuvers and exciting scenarios to stage and film, with safety and general panache.
