Whether you are interested in pursuing a career in voice overs or if you are someone who has to deliver presentations as part of your every day work, you'll benefit from this class. You'll learn about the industry, the trends, and most importantly – the technique of using your voice to represent a brand. We begin with an overall foundation in commercial voiceover. This class uses acting and improv to deliver a believable, polished read and focuses specifically on the art of the hard sell, soft sell, medium sell, and “conversational sell” for short-form radio, TV, and internet advertising. Build your skills in cold reading, breathing, intonation, inflection, character development, and emotionality in a classroom “playground” that encourages the free exploration of your unique sound and style to begin or further your career.
