COMPANY BIOGRAPHIES
Prior to founding Attic Salt Theatre Company, Jeff was a successful director, writer and actor, and he continues his pursuits in those areas. He has directed several productions in New York and regionally, and has gained a strong reputation for his skill, vision and integrity. As an actor he has performed in over fifty theatrical productions and has had the pleasure of working with film directors Woody Allen, Martin Scorcese and Spike Lee. His plays have been performed all around New York including at the Duffy Theatre, Chicago City Limits and Pulse Ensemble Theatre. Jeff is co-author of the Scholastic, Inc. book Folktales From Around the World. He teaches acting and improvisation, and coaches budding actors and directors privately. He serves on the Boards of several arts organizations.
Jeff has been creating theater opportunities for himself and others for almost twenty years. Currently he also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Improv Review, an online arts monthly, and he is Co-founder of Improv Academy, the only comprehensive, non-exclusive improvisational theater program in New York City.

Before founding Attic Salt Theatre Company, Marci worked as an actor in Florida and New York. She has been seen performing everywhere from outdoor arenas to theme restaurants to proscenium stages including a stint at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. While she still performs onstage, she has added the roles of producer, writer and director to her title. She has written and directed children’s theater all over New York, and plays for grown-ups at several New York City theaters including The Trilogy Theatre.
Marci is co-author of the Scholastic, Inc. book Folktales From Around the World. As an acting teacher, she coached and directed Theatre, Speech and Debate Students at many Florida high schools. She got her start as producer while serving on the Board of Directors of Tampa’s Café Players. Since moving to New York, she has worked in New York City public and private schools as a teaching artist, a full-time teacher, and an improvisation instructor.
Marci is a graduate of Florida State University’s School of Theater and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Her education and experience make her an artistic and well-grounded asset to Attic Salt’s staff. Outside of Attic Salt Marci is working on a new play and is a featured columnist for Improv Review.
